This John Frieda Defy Grey Brunette Blending Shampoo gradually blends away first greys into brunette tones. With Coffee Extract & GreyBlend™ Technology.

Directions
Apply liberally throughout wet hair. Lather. Leave on at least 3-5 minutes for the first use. Leave on up to 3 minutes for each subsequent use. Rinse well. To tame and blend away wiry greys, follow with Defy Grey Conditioner. For optimal grey blending results, finish with Defy Grey Foam.
For external use on scalp hair only. Rinse hands immediately after use. Avoid contact with fabrics and household surfaces to prevent staining. If contact occurs, clean immediately. Hair colourants can cause severe allergic reactions. Read and follow instructions. This product is not intended for use on persons under the age of 16. Temporary ""black henna"" tattoos may increase your risk of an allergy.
Do not colour your hair if:
- you have a rash on your face or sensitive, irritated and damaged scalp
- you have ever experienced an reaction after colouring your hair
- you have experienced a reaction to a temporary ""black henna"" tattoo in the past.

Didn't cover grey
I wanted to like this but it just didn't cover my grey at all. I tried as per instructions on wet hair, leather and leving for 5 mims, also on dry hair leaving for 10 mins, and something in between.
I only have a few grey hairs but maybe my East Asian hair is too strong? Nice enough shampoo though.

Amazing product that works
I have used this now for probably 3 years on my very thick and long hair which was naturally dark brown with lots of white/grey.
My hair now looks like I have spent hours and a lot of money having caramel and gold highlights added. No grey, no awful white parting. I receive lots of compliments on my hair.

Amazing Shampoo
I have been using this amazing shampoo and conditioner for almost three years and haven’t had to have hair coloured since. I have a few grey hairs in top of hair but a lot around hairline at the front this blends it to a lovely goldy blonde which tones nicely. My hairdresser too is impressed with how good it is. For anyone trying it I would say stick with it I was sceptical to begin with and then it suddenly just worked. I use it perhaps three times a week now rather than every wash. Please do not stop making this it’s excellent and has changed my life and saved me so much money and time at the salon that I can spend with my family.

BEST SHAMPOO & CONDITIONER EVER
I have been using this shampooand conditioner since it first appested on the shelves in Boots in Dublin. This range is perfect it blends away any greys and snow white ones too. I am 55 and I have never had to dye my hair I am having difficulty getting the products in Dublin at the moment Pleas don't stop producing this product it is excellent

It really does work
Never write reviews but this deserved it. So I was having to dye my roots every 3 weeks due to grey hair and every other time all over colour to freshen up ends
Until I came across this only used it once and difference is amazing it's definitely covered most greys and blended them and coloured my dull ends can wait to keep using it to see the results. Has left my hair lovely and shiny and smelling beautiful used both the shampoo and conditioner

I have salt and pepper (more salt than pepper) hair colour. Tried it once and left on for 10mins..
Really surprised with the result. No drastic overall colour change. But it toned down the silver in my hair with a look of highlights and low lights. Looking forward to trying it again after 1 week. Then will do regularly once a week.
