Beautiful scent
I really love this and bought it to try out the fragrance after smelling it on someone else. It’s like a more sophisticated version of musk based scents. Love it!

Super High End Fragrance
And I’m not an expert. It’s hard to explain the beautiful notes of this perfume. I can look at the notes and all I understand is that the complexity of them just works so well. I was really surprised when I first tried it. It’s much more Woody than I would normally wear. Smells super high end. Although it does have a very light sweetness to it too. I love the travel size it’s great to put in my purse. However, I really don’t need to think that I need it because what this product has is staying power. I never feel that fragrances last the day out. This one magically does stay. If you’re looking for something that smells amazing, lasts all day and you get compliments . I would definitely try this retrospect from Merit. I’ll be buying a larger bottle to keep on my dressing table.

Great, clean perfume
After a certain brand changed their perfume formula I’ve been struggling to find an every day perfume that is fresh, light, but still has personality to it without it just smelling like soap. This is the perfect every day fragrance that wears beautifully during the day and evolves throughout the day. The result is something that is fresh, gourmand and light but also has presence. This is a beautiful every day perfume.

A beautiful every day fragrance. Strong perfumes can give me a headache but this one is the perfect amount of strong enough so that others compliment you on it but not too strong that it’s overpowering

My new everyday, perfect fragrance!
It is truly my favourite fragrance! I admit that buying without smelling is not ideal, but trust the reviews—Retrospect is a beautiful fragrance.
Fragrance is subjective, but to me, it smells sophisticated, warm, and clean. There are fruity and floral notes (from pear, jasmine rose, and violet, I believe!) and a slight musk. The pear is quite prominent.
About me: I tend towards floral perfumes, and my favourites are Armani Prive Malachite Rouge, Jo Malone Rose Oud, and Diptyque Eau Rose. I wouldn't compare Retrospect to these, however, as I believe they deliver different scents—I'm not a professional, though!

Sophistication in a bottle
Subtle, chic, clean and sophisticated. I wasn’t too sure when I first tried this perfume but it’s just grown on me - reminds me of a bygone era. It’s perfectly named as ‘Retrospective’ . It’s unique and that’s one reason I love it. Another is this handy travel size version.
