Sephora Gift Card: Everything You Need to Know

Congratulations on purchasing a Sephora gift card! Whether you're treating yourself or spoiling someone special, we want to ensure you have a seamless and delightful experience. This article provides all the essential information about your physical gift card or digital gift card.

Activation Times: Get Ready to Glow!

Physical Gift Cards: These cards are activated immediately upon purchase at the cash desk in-store. Or when you receive them in your online order. Get ready to unlock those beauty dreams!

Digital Gift Cards: Digital gift cards are typically activated within 24 hours of purchase. While you wait, why not get your wish list ready? For those who choose the printable PDF option, please allow approximately 3 hours for a security check before your digital gift card is ready to use.

Redeeming Your Gift Card: In-Store and Online

You can use your Sephora gift card for one or multiple payments, both in our stores and online at sephora.co.uk, or using the Sephora online app. Feel free to use up to five gift cards per transaction, for a maximum amount of £1,000. Please note that gift cards cannot be used to purchase further gift cards. If your gift card doesn't fully cover your purchase, you can complete the payment using another accepted method.

Checking Your Balance: Stay in the Know

It's easy to keep track of your gift card balance. You can either:

• Visit one of our stores and ask a team member to check for you.
• In your Sephora UK account in the “Gift cards” section

• With our Customer Care team here.

Step-by-Step: Redeeming Your Digital or Physical Gift Card Online

Here’s how to redeem your gift card online:

1. Confirm your basket.

2. Enter the 13-digit number on the email received or at the back of your physical gift card in the “Enter a Promo code or Gift card code” box.

3. When prompted enter the 4-digit PIN code on the email received or after scratching off the grey area on your physical gift card, in the field provided :

Important: If the PIN code is entered incorrectly three times, the card will be blocked. If this happens, please contact us via this link.

Refunds: What to Expect

Please note that gift cards are non-refundable.

• If you return products purchased in-store with a gift card, you will be reimbursed with another gift card.
• If you return products purchased online with a gift card, you will be reimbursed with an digital gift card.
