Festival-Proof Makeup Look by Rebecca Pickin, Sephora UK Beauty Advisor
1. Clean the skin using a cotton pad with Sephora Collection Micellar Cleansing Water.
2. Apply Sephora Collection Gentle Jelly Cleanser to remove any excess sebum or makeup from the skin ensuring you have fresh clean skin to work on.
3. Applying to the face and neck area I next used the Hydrate Dewy Bubble Serum to hydrate the skin for a full day of partying. Top tip is to shake the bottle before using.
4. The next step was to apply the Hydrate Bouncy Water Jelly, using your hands massage this into the face and neck.
5. Apply a pea sized amount of the Brightening Glow Eye Cream to the back of your hand and massage using your ring finger into the socket under the eye area.
6. The final step is to apply Hydrate SPF30 Daily Defence Fluid all over the face.
1. Apply Sephora Collection Smooth and Blur Primer to the centre of the face, focusing on areas with visible pores or texture. Smooth outwards using your fingers to create an even base.
2. Apply Sephora Collection Reveal the Real Soft Radiant Skin Tint to the face using a #01 Foundation brush brush or sponge. Blend from the centre of the face outwards for a soft, natural radiant finish.
3. Apply Sephora Collection Best Concealer Ever under the eyes with #57 brush and on any areas needing extra coverage like redness or blemishes and blend gently.
4. Set the concealer and any areas prone to shine using Sephora Collection Blur It Loose Powder. Press the powder into the skin first using a powder puff, then lightly sweep away any excess with a large fluffy brush for a smooth blurred finish.
5. Use the Sephora Collection Bronze and Glow Palette to warm up the complexion. Apply bronzer around the hairline, under the cheekbones and lightly along the jawline, blending well for a soft sculpted effect with the duo cheek brush.
6. Apply the Cheek and Lip Tint over the bronzer to add colour depth, pressing it lightly into the skin so it melts into the base.
7. Then apply Morning Blaze Colorful Glazed Blush over the top of the cheek area to add more sparkle and sheen. Blend upwards towards the temples for a lifted look.
8. Return to the Bronze and Glow Palette and apply the highlighter to the high points of the face, including the tops of the cheekbones, bridge of the nose and cupid’s bow, to finish the base with a soft glow.
1. Begin by brushing the brows into shape and defining them using Sephora Collection Instant Sculpt Brow Pencil. Use light hair-like strokes to fill any sparse areas whilst maintaining a natural shape.
2. Set the brows in place using Sephora Collection Fluff & Fix Brow Gel, brushing the hairs upwards and outwards for a lifted and fluffy finish.
3. Prime the eyelids using Sephora Collection Boost + Lock Eyeshadow Primer. Apply a thin layer across the entire lid and allow it to set for a few seconds to create a smooth and creaseless base.
4. Using the Sephora Collection Baby Blue Matte Shadow Stick apply colour to both the inner and outer corners of the eyelid, leaving the centre of the lid bare. Blend the edges using the Sephora Collection The Crease Brush 09 to create a soft transition whilst maintaining space in the centre.
5. Apply the White Matte Shadow Stick directly to the centre of the eyelid. Gently blend where the colours meet to create a seamless gradient between the blue and white shades.
6. Using the Sephora Collection Pro Shadow Brush 14, apply Fresh Wave Colourful Eyeshadow over the baby blue areas on the inner and outer corners of the lid. Build intensity gradually and blend into the white centre shade to enhance the halo eye effect.
7. Create a winged liner using the Sephora Collection 12HR Intense Ink Felt Liner. Start from the outer corner, extending the wing upwards before connecting it back across the lash line for a clean, defined finish.
8. Using a smudger brush, apply the blue eyeshadow along the lower lash line, concentrating on the inner and outer corners and blending it into the upper shadow to connect the look together.
9. Apply decorative Face Gems around the eyes and brow area to enhance the festival-inspired look. Position the gems symmetrically along the brow bone, outer corners and inner corners of the eyes using lash glue. Top tip allow the adhesive to become tacky before placing each gem for maximum hold.
10. Finish the eye look by applying Sephora Collection Size Up Mascara to the upper and lower lashes. Apply multiple coats for added volume, length and definition.
1. Begin by defining the lips using Sephora Collection 8-Hour Colorful Transfer-Proof Lip Liner. Outline the natural lip shape, slightly enhancing the cupid’s bow and outer corners if desired, before lightly filling in the edges to create a long-lasting base.
2. Apply the Sephora Collection Cheek & Lip Tint to the centre of the lips and blend outwards towards the liner using a lip brush or fingertip. Build the colour gradually to achieve a soft, fresh flush of colour that complements the blush used on the cheeks.
3. Finish the lips with Sephora Collection Gloss Balm, applying evenly across the lips to add hydration, shine and a comfortable glossy finish whilst maintaining the soft tint underneath.
4. To finish the whole look spritz the whole face with Sephora Collection Glow Setting Spray.
