Rated 1 out of 5 by from Broke out in spots Changed from another cleansing balm to this after seeing good reviews. When using found had separate, found if shook first before use then was better. After a few uses skin broke out in spots. Stopped skin settled and tried again, but the same happened.Ended up throwing away an almost full tube.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Not for me [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Unfortunately the oil separates from the product on a warm day, so you have an overly runny product one day, and overly hard product the next. I have dry skin so unfortunately the cleanser was not for me. It was also hard to rinse off, I had to use a flannel to remove the residue.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Oat cleansing balm I bought this after my daughter’s praise. The first one was brilliant, left my face feeling very clean and smooth after use probably due to the oat particles. Second one was completely different in both texture , colour and missing oat particles, I ended up having a bad reaction to it leaving my face very puffy, red and a bit sore. No idea why the two were different as they were bought from a reputable store. It has put me off buying another as I might end up with the second one again and not the good one that I had first time.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Let down by hard grainy bits! I love the balm, but what are the hard grainy bits? They're really scratchy on the skin and hurt when you rub the balm in. Because of this I wouldn't use it around the eyes. If the whole tube is like this I'll be going back to Liz Earle.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from good! this product is pretty good! i have no complaints other than the design of the bottle. it’s very difficult to actually squeeze the product out of its container. other than that, this is great!! gets my makeup off very well and makes my skin feel smooth.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great cleanser for the price Very thick consistency but i really like how this applies on my skin. I actually ended up buying another product because of the advice in the packaging, so for the price i think this is a great little cleanser

I'm worried I would be over-stripping my skin since I use a water based cleanser that contains Salicylic acid & also use the Paula's choice 2% BHA exfoliant. Would this be too much to add to my routine?

Asked by: Anonymous
This cleanser would be soothing because it contains oats. I would consider using just one product containing BHA to ensure you don't damage your skin barrier. I have several cleansers at a higher price point but always have this cleanser because it is fab
