For lips that hypnotise, Gucci Beauty Rouge à Lèvres Liquide Matte is a transformative cream-to-powder liquid lipstick with a transfer-proof soft-matte finish. Created with comfort and care in mind, Rouge à Lèvres Liquide Matte is enriched with Black Rose Oil to soothe lips upon application.

The coverage is buildable, transforming from a creamy liquid to a powdery matte texture for a completely smoothed effect and weightless lip-feel that does not transfer or smudge.

Available in a wide range of colours from natural, rosewood and orange to pink, red and plum, Rouge à Lèvres Liquide Matte offers rich colour choices in the perfect shade. It also included the House's classics Pink and Orange, and the iconic shade of Gucci, Rosso Ancora #509. A recurring colour in the history of the House, Gucci Rosso Ancora draws inspiration from the walls of one of The Savoy hotel's elevators in London, where founder Guccio Gucci once worked as a porter in the late 18th century and became inspired to bring his leather goods and luggage brand to life. Encased within a vintage long tube, frosted to showcase the shade within, Rouge à Lèvres Liquide Mat is topped with a gold lid and finished with gold lettering.

While Gucci Rosso Ancora iconic shade packaging slim outer lid is reimagined, wrapped opaquely in the same iconic hue as the lipstick within. It also extends its allure to the outer packaging that encases the lipstick.

Directions

For a modern take on the classic red lip:
1. Apply a light wash of a soft shade all over the lips and allow it to dry for a few seconds.
2. Next, apply a richer shade to the center of the lips to create a soft bitten effect. Press the lips together lightly without rubbing them to blend the colors.
3. Add a flush of color to the apples of the cheeks by applying with the pad of your middle finger and blend the color seamlessly with your skin for a soft-focus effect.
