Directions
How do I do nude matte eye makeup?
- Apply the pink matte eyeshadow 301 Strawberry Macaroon as a base on the whole upper eyelid. Use the PRO large blending brush #27 to achieve a more diffused result.
- Choose a matte taupe eyeshadow, like 309 Mocha Latte. Apply the shade in the eyelid crease and on the outer corner of the eye. Smudge the color with the precision crease brush #17.
- Use shade 209 Scented Candle as a transition eyeshadow. Put the color on the outer half of the upper eyelid. Smudge the different eyeshadows with the large blending brush #27.
- Complete your makeup by underlining the lower lash lines with the same shade as in the previous step. Use the tip of the fine eyeshadow brush #15 for a more precise line.

Small but good pigment
This eyeshadow was smaller than I initially thought but has really good colour payoff. I bought scented candle which I would describe as a cool toned mauvish shade. Really beautiful!

Sephora Collection Strawberry Macaroon Matte Eyesh
I am impressed with this Sephora Collection Strawberry Macaroon Matte eyeshadow. Matte formulas are sometimes difficult to get right but in my opinion, this formula is smooth and buttery with great pigment payoff after just one swipe — as seen in my photos. Plus the pigment is buildable. The eyeshadow feels soft to use, yet the pigment doesn’t crumble which is a sign that it is of great quality. I wore it without an eyeshadow primer and I was very impressed at the longevity of it. Due to the fact that this eyeshadow is very light against my skin tone, I would typically want to wear an eyeshadow primer beforehand — for maximum impact of colour.
The name ‘Strawberry Macaroon’ is well named, since I would describe it as a milky, light pink wash. It is a versatile shade and would look great as a transition shade, or alone with a black liner (impactful) or brown liner (softer) look. It would even work as an ‘all over’ eyelid colour too.
I noticed that this eyeshadow is made in Italy. The packaging is lightweight and compact, but at the same time, it is solid in design. It is worth mentioning that the eyebrow pan is removable and therefore the compact itself is reusable.
You receive 1g of product, which I believe is a fair deal for the price. This is a very good eyeshadow. I look forward to checking out others in the Sephora Collection.

Soft wearable pink eyeshadow
Sephora Collection Colorful Eyeshadow Matt finish “Strawberry Macaron” is a soft, warm pink with a matte finish, perfect for creating fresh, romantic, or everyday looks. It’s flattering on fair to medium skin tones and works well as a transition shade.
The formula feels silky and blends easily without looking patchy. It has decent color payoff, though it may need layering for a more intense look. Great quality for the price, and the small packaging makes it travel-friendly. If you’re looking for a soft, wearable pink eyeshadow with a matte finish, “Strawberry Macaron” is a lovely choice.

Goes on smoothly brilliant eyeshadow
This is perfect size eyeshadow pot, it is easy to apply and goes on smoothly and blends perfectly. I love the colour and I have already brought other colours as I’m so impressed with the one I have. I would definitely recommend this eyeshadow it is amazing and one of the best I have used I love it it’s brilliant.

Feels lovely but not the shade for me
I’m a massive Sephora fan, and this eyeshadow lives up to the brand’s reputation for good quality products; doesn’t make my eyes run, doesn’t crease and look awful, and it’s easy to apply. My only criticism is that it’s far too light for my skin tone (and that isn’t the brand’s fault). I have been wearing it for WFH video calls, but it’s not something I’d wear for a night out because it does little on fair skin. I’d absolutely buy it in another shade though!

I am absolutely in love with the SEPHORA Colorful Eyeshadow Matte Finish in the shade Strawberry Macaroon!
This gorgeous pastel pink is the perfect combination of soft and vibrant, making it ideal for everyday wear.
It feels lightweight and doesn’t chalk up on the lids.
Longevity is another standout feature.
With a good primer, it stays put all day without creasing or fading, even after hours of wear.
